Alright, so my little flower children and I have been tossing around ideas and here are a few features to be found in the game's first few versions.
Achievements
In the game, achievements will be a sort of play thing, it will have no real meaning rather than to show them off. the first person to find all achievements will receive a surprise <3
Quests
Now I'm kind of iffy on this one myself, but it is most definitely worth a shot. The game will have quests to sort of liven up the life of a wolf. such as when you start the game, after you choose your dam and sire, you control your dam, let's use Redd's mother for example. Navigating through heavy snow, you are unable to run so that just adds to the fun <3 You must find a den site before the sun sets or you will freeze, ending with a game over. Sounds fun right?
Pups
Yes pups. There is a down side to this, there is a forty to sixty percent chance your pup will die with in the first year of it's life. You are so welcome for that. If you play the female in the mated pair, you will only leave the den to satisfy that thirst bar yo. Your mate and / or older pups ( if you have more than one litter. ) will bring you bits of carcass. Now isn't that sweet?
Pack mates
This ties in with the pups, as a pack is constructed of a mated pair and their offspring. After you turn the age of three years old and leave your birth pack, you will take a mate. Mating in the winter every year and producing a litter in the spring. ( see Pups on more information. ) Your pups will stay in your pack until three years of age, the age of which they are sexually mature and will leave the pack to make their own.
Now. About the hiatus. I will be pausing the progress on the game until I have at least two modelers and a coder at my side. this is where I need YOUR help!
Please share the link to the forums and put out the word that I can not model these wolves all by myself and I sure as hell don't know the first thing about coding.
I love you guys for supporting me this far <3 I will update again when I have the beautiful little modelers on the team <3
